STRATUS LANTERN ROOFS

Offer your customers an aluminium lantern roof that is discrete yet stylish. The Stratus allows natural daylight to flood into a property, making it the ideal modern lantern solution, combining sleek contemporary looks with truly outstanding performance.

Designed from the ground up around an innovative thermally broken system, it provides excellent thermal performance – keeping cool in the summer and warm in the winter – while delivering the architectural refinement you’d expect of a high end aluminium lantern system, with aluminium or PVCu used internally for a refined finish.

Glazing options include self cleaning glass, available in blue, aqua green and neutral/ grey tint finishes with solar reflection up to 82%. Plus, our 1.0 U value glazing can give the Stratus lantern roof an overall U Value of between 1.59 and 1.93 depending upon the design – as detailed below.

DESIGN & COLOUR OPTIONS

Available in 2-way, 3-way, 4-way or contemporary designs, with sizes up to 3m x 6m, this high end, high performance lantern roof is ideal for modern living.

For the ultimate in minimalism, the innovative contemporary style supports the ridge solely by the hip rafters, for an ultra slim, clean and modern look.

Stratus comes in a choice colour finishes: black, grey and white as standard or any RAL Colour.

INNOVATIVE FULLY THERMALLY BROKEN LANTERN ROOF

Thermal break technology ensures that Stratus is warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Every element of the lantern has an ultra-low conductive element that separates the inner and outer aluminium skin, helping keep heat transfer down, and reducing heating bills.

  • Polyamide nylon, glass composite thermal breaks are 533 times more thermally efficient than aluminium.
  • Up to 65% more thermally efficient than conventional aluminium roof systems
  • Easy to install, meaning less time on site and less disruption to home owners
Precision Engineered Quality

Every element of the Stratus Thermal Lantern Roof has been designed to be exceptional. From the low profile 20 ̊ pitch that allows the use of purpose designed cappings that keep sightlines to a minimum – and the view of the sky maximised – to the discreet black finish of our perimeter beam, that ensures if the lantern is viewed from above, all anyone will see is glass and a discreet shadow line.

The ridge has also been designed to be 66% smaller than conventional aluminium roof systems for stunning aesthetics.

Stratus is high-quality British engineering at its best.
