HERITAGE CASEMENT WINDOWS
Heritage casement windows, or timber alternative casement windows offer the appearance of wood, combined with the energy efficiency and maintenance benefits of PVCu. In order to cater for a diverse range of property styles, the Ultimate Heritage Collection of casement windows offers the choice of three sash options.
All options utilise the same thermally efficient chambered outer frame and provide a beautiful white woodgrain ovolo sculptured finish on the inside.
Also, they each include dummy sashes on any fixed windows, providing a balanced appearance and equal sight lines between the chosen configuration of fixed and open windows. All options are also available in the same Heritage range of colours and with the same optional finishing touches, such as Georgian bar detailing and your choice of elegant furniture.
This is where the similarities end and the clear distinction between the three sash options becomes apparent. Whilst the rebated sash lips over the outer frame giving a picture frame effect, the flush sash remains in line with the outer frame offering a slimmer appearance.
There is also the option of GENUS, offering scribed and milled butt joints to the outer frame and sash for the truly authentic timber look. These timber joints are scribed on the external and internal face.

Engineered using traditional joinery techniques with scribed and milled butt joints providing the ultimate timber effect window – timber joints scribed on both the external and internal face.

HANDLE OPTIONS
Ultimate Heritage windows offers a choice of three handle designs; Push Button Locking Handles, Tear Drop Handles or Monkey Tail Handles. All three designs are available in multiple finish options so your customers are able to choose the perfect handle to compliment their window style and other existing interior furniture.
TRICKLE VENTS
As of June 15, 2022, Approved Document F of the Building Regulations that specifically relates to ventilation, requires that adequate ventilation is provided throughout a property.
In the absence of a suitable mechanical ventilation system, conforming to these regulations requires the use of trickle vents fitted into windows.
Ultimate Collection Windows are able to meet these requirements with an efficient, safe and secure trickle vent.

Authentic External CLIP ON Georgian Bar
Many of your customers may decide to have decorative Georgian Bars applied to their windows for a truly authentic Georgian style. The unique Astragal clip on Georgian Bar from John Fredericks is a scribed PVCu bar, finished and colour matched to the exact same finish of the chosen windows.
The bars are connected to full length aluminium fixing strips that are bonded to the glass unit. This, combined with the spacer bar grid design inside the unit, gives the impression that each pane is a separate unit.
The innovative clip on Georgian Bar system ensures the Georgian grille does not shrink, warp or detach, regardless of weather conditions.
Concealed TRICKLE VENTS
You can also offer your customers the option of concealed ventilation. The ventilation is built into the head of the outer frame which is concealed by a full width aluminium exterior canopy, colour and finish matched to the window frames.
The same interior link vents with closure plates are used on the inside of the window.
Internal Georgian Bar
In contrast to the External Georgian Bar system, where the bar is applied onto the outer faces of the insulated glass unit, as the name suggests, Internal Georgian Bars are held within the sealed glass unit.
Internal Georgian Bars still provide an effective feature, but with the bars inside the glass, the glass maintains a flat surface with no protrusions and are therefore easier to clean.
